Guido Verswijvel, Senior Adviser - Antwerp

Guido Verswijvel is Managing Director of Gucy Management, which acts as a strategic partner for ambitious and growth-oriented enterprises. He holds majority stakes in a number of companies which are active in automotive parts, IT-Services, and ecological living concepts. Guido also sits on the Board of Directors or Advisory Boards of several companies and entrepreneurs. He has worked as a strategic advisor in the financial services industry, in strategic consulting at McKinsey, and as an independent entrepreneur.

His field of knowledge and practical expertise is in marketing and finance. Guido teaches the REP-elective (Realising Entrepreneurial Potential) in the MBA and GEMBA Programs at INSEAD; the ETA-elective at the Hult International Business School, and is visiting professor in services marketing at Cedep.

Guido is Co-Founder of Finpower (Financial Consultancy for medium sized Businesses) and of BAN Vlaanderen (Business Angel Network in region Flanders (Belgium).

Guido holds a Master in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp where he also did a Doctoral Program (Major in Marketing / Minor in Finance). He is an alumnus of the MBA-program at INSEAD.
